If you repair and do this I tried the MESSY material which comes in aerosol cans and the results were a big mess, you have more control with this stuff and you can achieve a perfect match with the environment. I've found that for a small area, the best results are to use a cheap brush and dab lightly. Be careful as you can overdo it. If you have a large area, you can use a natural sea sponge, which you can buy here at Revain, or at your paint department, dip it into the mixture and dab lightly onto the bald spot on your quilt.
