I read a lot of bad reviews about the size of this item being too big and then I read more about how bad it fits. It made me nervous about getting one. But I really wanted a warm, long-sleeved sleeping bag for my son. My son is 13 months old on average. I ordered 12-18 months. Instead of going up or down like most of these reviews say, I just went to its normal size. And that's great. I've washed it and tumble dried it on a low heat and it just shrinks a little. It's not too big and not small. This will likely suit him up to 18 months. It's soft, warm and very cute. If in doubt about ordering it, just do it. I'm so glad I did.
