From the day of arrival it was launched almost every day. I own a parts/vinyl wrap shop. So this thing always works. As for the heat gun, the digital controls it offers is great, the on/off button feels solid, the safety protection works well. short without using an extension cord. When wrapping a car with vinyl, the cable simply shorts it out. I'll open it up and install a new cable into the device. I need a good 10-15 foot cable. even 8' will work. But the hard (read cheap) 4ft cable is a joke. Otherwise, it's still a solid unit. But you definitely need an extension cord.
