I bought this to replace our old screen which was collecting dirt in a fine mesh. It fitted well at first, but after a short time, around 6 weeks, it started to warp and no longer sat in the slit. The corner sticks out and catches on the laces (see image), which then become twisted tightly as the dryer turns the clothes inside out. This spoils the shape of the clothes and tears the straps and laces. This isn't the best replacement as the plastic doesn't stand up to the heat of the dryer. Make sure you get an official replacement part and not just one.
