LG has known issues with lint collectors catching on clothing. The original started with it and eventually dodged to avoid falling into the trap. I ordered this and it didn't hit the trap. I found that I also had to replace the other part of the trap because it was deformed from clothing getting in. It was easy to replace and when complete this trap fitted the trap perfectly. The clothes stopped sticking after a month of use.

I bought this to replace our old screen which was collecting dirt in a fine mesh. It fitted well at first, but after a short time, around 6 weeks, it started to warp and no longer sat in the slit.
