Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Anndason Ceiling-Mount Curtain Rod Bracket โ€“ Set of 4 Black Curtain Rod Brackets, Rod Holders by John Collins

Just terribly good for rod holders

I had to attach the brackets to the ceiling which was not a pleasant experience. So the brackets marked for use on my ceiling were just what I needed. I have a very long window in my living room with horrible vertical blinds that I can't remove. I'm allowed to hang curtains in the apartment, so I tried them out because they matched the rod I bought and weren't too noticeable either. I received them and they are very well made. They are very durable and look great in real life. However, the nightmare tried to hang her. Holes in those uncomfortable places. I measured several times where to install the 4 brackets. I loosely attached them all with 1 screw and put a rod through all to make sure they lined up properly. With the help of my husband and friend we screwed in all 4 mounts and made sure the rod came out once inserted. The stalk is only 1 inch long and has damaged the surface of the stalk in a few places. that were not perfectly rounded. After pulling out the rod to attach the curtain panels, I couldn't put them back in place. So now I have 12 holes in the ceiling, a damaged pole and a few useless brackets. It might be easier to mount them on a wall but the awkward hole pattern is terrible and they are advertised for ceiling use. They are not evenly aligned like you would think (whereas when connected they would form an equilateral triangle). And the holes that the cornice fits into aren't perfectly round or the right size. If you have a smaller pole and wall mount it, it *may* be fine. But based on my experience I didn't like them and wouldn't recommend them. I want my money back for them.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Communication with seller
