The assembly instructions are horrible. It would have been helpful if each tube had an identifying label on it as the instructions are ambiguous. I figured out how it assembles by trial and error. I am very pleased with this flagpole, but did reinforce it and replaced the halyard after only 3 months. After seeing a review and pictures of bent poles, I decided to first reinforce the bottom 3 sections of the pole with schedule 40 1-1/2" PVC water pile (see picture---it is a perfect fit). It's a flagpole. You put it together and it flies your flag nicely.Of course, the instructions tell you to just plant the PVC sleeve in the ground but I didn't think that'd be secure enough so I mixed a bag of concrete in a spackle bucket with the PVC sleeve in the center of the bucket and dropped the whole bucket in the ground to give the flag pole extra weight and sturdiness to insure that the winds won't eventually blow the whole thing over. It's flying in the wind in a snowstorm right now!

The installation was a snap. The aluminum pipe sections have stood up to 40 plus mph winds with a single light weight flag. Says what it does and does what it says. The only negative was the length of the line being a little short. Just rig it with one clip on each end grommet of the flag.

I install a lot of flags for veterans and have done for years. this pole was ordered because I needed it fast for a rush job. I already dug a 3 ft hole and had a piece of 3 " PVC in the hole cemented in for about a week. when the kit came I put it together except the bottom pole and white pvc sleeve. This flagpole is a great addition to our backyard. Our house backs up to the main road through out town and I wanted to display our patriotism. I put a 4’ x 6’ flag on it and it looks great. My tension flagpole kept losing tension and sections kept slipping down. The flag pole came with some instructions but nothing showing how the sections connected. I was able to figure it out after playing around with the pieces and only used 3 sections. Poles are lightweight. I was disappointed that all parts except for the poles and carabiners are plastic. I doubt they will last more than a year outside in the elements. Even the gold ball is painted plastic like a cheap Christmas ornament. I will update this review as needed.

For the price, it is what I expected. I live on top of a hill and get some good gusts of wind. It did bend/flex in some storms so I put a few lengths of chain link top rail fencing inside the pole to strengthen ($20 for 2 sections). It has held up great since.

works great with a little help. inserted a PVC pipe into pole for added sturdiness. didn't like the way it swayed in the wind.I took off a star because the rope that comes with it is junk, lasted about a week before it frayed apart and my flag was on the ground when i got home from work.

It is a great flag pole when it is finally assembled, it took three tries, the poles should be numbered or marked in some way. thank you

For an inexpensive flagpole, this pole is high quality. Assembly instructions are straight forward and understandable. It took about 15 minutes to assemble and install.

This flag pole is very light weight. In fact, too light. It broke in half during a 42 mph wind gust. Yes, the instructions caution the owner to remove the flag during "extreme" weather conditions. To me, a 42 mph wind is not extreme. So unless you live in a cave, or want to install it inside a building, I'd recommend finding one beavier duty than this. So far the pole has been great. It has held up to high winds. It was easy to install. I added the recommended solar light that works great.

Vendor claims product is "strong enough to withstand high winds" however mine went down in a 37 mph wind. That's my feedback!
