This is a great starter kit for making cute baked clay crafts. My daughter loves making colorful rings. Clay is easy to work with, there are many colors. The set includes tools for working with clay. There is also a mold with cute shapes and accessories for earrings, keychains, jewelry and hair clips. There is a small instruction manual with some suggestions, but my daughter used her imagination to create her own. After she makes her stoneware, she bakes it in the oven over low heat for about 20 minutes. They grip well and are quite strong, especially when she's mixed the clay chunks well. The colors remain equally saturated after baking. The whole set fits nicely in the trays provided. They connect and have a handle for the top. My daughter loves bringing this set to her friends house and they have a lot of fun creating beautiful designs. Teenagers and teenagers can most likely do everything on their own, but younger children may need adult help.
