Pros:+ Conceals existing scratches (!)+ Improves contrast+ Stays cleaner longer (hides fingerprints)+ Easy to apply and remove+ Doesn't need much more than the tools provided Cons:+ May increase glare for some situations. (but the improved contrast makes the screen brighter, so it's not too bad) I expected it to help reduce fingerprints, which it does well, but I didn't expect it to completely hide existing scratches on the screen. My 2016 XC90 was bought used and it looks like the previous owner used the screen to file his 10" acrylic nails. After installing this protection, the screen will look like new. No joke, not a single scratch can be seen. Another side effect is that the contrast seems to be greatly improved, probably because the scratches aren't visible and dull the screen content. The only downside is that the reflections are a bit more pronounced with this protection, but it's a good deal. In terms of installation, I don't know what the 1 star reviewers are saying. This is one of the easiest screens to install that I have ever used. Just do the following and you'll be spot on: 1) Wipe fingerprints off the screen with a microfiber cloth 2) Wipe over with the provided "wiper paper" cloth and let dry. 3) check for dust and remove from the screen with some tape 4) attach the suction cup to the top of the screen protector, rub upwards and sideways with your finger until you reach the top. If you see dust or bubbles, STOP, retract the suction cup, use the included stickers to remove the dust and continue working. Light. Please note that when fitting an air conditioning rear window protector it is much easier to do it by climbing into the back seat! help lift the corner once to remove dust) and a large microfiber cloth. Overall I'm happy with this protector and the rear temperature control screen is a bonus.
