I received this item to use with a power chair because I was told I would need to sleep sitting up for a few weeks after my surgery. I already had a cheap semi-soft foam lumbar pillow, but I was sure it would be more supportive. It was. But it was also too forgiving for my needs. After testing my old lumbar pillow (which was too soft) and this pillow (which was too firm), I decided to use my old pillow. I gifted this pillow to my cousin who works from home and he had a peak time working 12-15 hours at a time with no problem. He'd already bought a better office chair with lumbar support, which didn't do him much good. He tried this remedy and was enthusiastic about it. Strap options allow it to be positioned where it is most useful and is strong enough to support your back for many, many hours. This support pillow is very well made. (My old one was just a zippered bag over foam). It is very comfortable, adjustable and perfect for the office worker. If this is the app you have (or maybe you drive long distances and need firmer lumbar support) this is a very good buy for you. Ideal for knowledge workers or long-distance travelers.
