I bought this harness just before quarantine. I thought it would be a great group to work with as I can't wear flashy colors or patterns as part of my uniform. The group and I spent a year on vacation, occasionally picking up here and there, but mostly I was my daily driver around the house doing a little housework. I'm definitely picky about my watch straps, I don't take them off while I'm working, and I'm not careful when pulling wires, working in tight spaces, or near abrasive materials. , the canvas loosened a little and took the shape of my wrist. The look is quite understated and I really like the style. I've had several canvas straps from Ritche and Burton and they all end up with a certain musky that can be downright unattractive, so be sure to wash the strap and avoid showering or swimming with them. My only issue is the strap, it showed signs of wear early on but gave the strap some character and looked ok. Now a year later it has actually given up and worn to the end as I moved the dresser around my house. This prompted me to grab another Ritche harness (black on black this time) and toss it in my briefcase the next time I need to climb the attic or work in the garden. In the end the strap lasted a bit longer than my previous linen straps, I'll probably stick with Ritche for a while longer as long as they remain competitively priced and maintain their quality.
