Good Old Cookware

Love this grill and pan combo. Lodge products seem to have many ideas. I mainly use the grill and Lodge made the grills big enough to cook the food properly. Other brands that I've noticed have shorter grilles. The food will be as delicious as if I cooked on the grill on the street. The chicken thighs get rid of the fat cooked here, giving them a nice dry flavor. sausage too. My dad used the flat side to cook the quesadilla and said it cooks well in a pan. The size is decent. Warms well and evenly. The unusually shaped handles do this very well. In fact I think more cast iron products should have handles like this as everything gets hot and not having handles ready to burn you is a huge plus. Now, like on a grill, you can easily smoke the house, but that's how good food is made. Cleaning is very easy. Don't worry about ruining it, it's cast iron so it's not brittle. I use a metal dish sponge and it still looks very good to me. Just make sure you season it after every wash, at least until you realize there's a season left after every wash. My mom has an old cast iron that she hasn't even cleaned in years and it cooks great and she cleans it with a metal sponge. This product looks like it will offer the same long-term use. Now it's cast iron, so it has some weight, but not as much weight as you might think. All in all a good old fashioned product for good old fashioned cooking. Meatballs are good too. I will add photos of meatballs.
