Review on 🌑️ Temperature Protective Enclosure for Creality 3D Printers by Trey Harvey

Excellent - Not too ugly - Very good Update

I just built it for my Ender 3 v2. I'm hoping to print ABS and maybe some flexible materials along with the case, which should make things easier. It's big and bulky, which means it looks like a giant magical device on my desk. I don't like it because I understand its function. The main complaint I have is that they placed the "cable hole" on the front left, which is ridiculous given that the power cord runs on the back left of the machine. Also, there should be more "cable holes" on the back as the only one I found that actually works (back cover) is too far from the printer to work with my power supply. That being said, it seems to hold up noise and heat well. I don't want to test fire resistance but I think it's better than nothing. Update: I can confirm my prints require less heat and have been getting better and better since installing. The refractory lining gives me peace of mind, I hope I never experience it. I moved her to a different location so she's not that ugly and I installed LEDs that give her a cool look. The best part was that I didn't have to mount the camera or lights on the machine itself, but on the chassis frame, which makes the whole setup cleaner and reduces the weight of the gantry and other parts of the printer. It was a big plus to discover. I put the camera in the front left side of the top case and the cables spiraling up the frame are completely hidden.

Pros

Cons
