These cotton rope baskets are bright, sunny, and cheerful (yellow). They are very useful for different purposes. They stack for storage. However, the point where the rope ends at the top of the basket is not properly finished. There is a noticeable difference in elevation between the end of the rope and the level below. And there are loose threads that are not threaded. I've looked closely at some of my other rope baskets and it's true that they ALL have a slight difference in height where the rope ends. However, in well-made baskets, the end is sewn tightly several times so that it gradually evens out and there are no protruding threads sticking out. So, at first glance or from a distance, these yellow baskets look great. But if you look closely, you'll see that this isn't very good. Whether that says anything about how long the baskets generally last remains to be seen. I will update my review if more issues arise.
