This strap is everything I hoped it would be. It was strong and tough and the skin was very dark even blue with no texture but I twisted and twisted until it softened and resulted in a slightly marbled look just like the photo on the website and now it looks so out of something lighter. again as in the photo. It comes with an interchangeable tool but no quick change pins and no pins at all but once you put it on the watch you've solved that problem and it looks so good I doubt it. anyone would ever want to take it off again unless they put on an even better watch. I disagree with the other reviewer that the leather looks fake and doesn't smell like leather. Because it smells like leather and doesn't look artificial. Design wise I saw one pad, just one pad sold by another manufacturer and the ends of the pad were a little longer so curved down the sides of the wrist a little more which I'm going for this one wish did. , but this pad appears to be single ply and this one is double ply which never curls, sags or runs around the edges which is more important to me than the difference in design. It's just an excellent product, totally worth its price, and it has completely upgraded the look of the watch it's on. If more colors - black! - Back to the sale. I will upgrade other watches to this strap as you can tell its quality at first glance. After wearing it for a while I decided to treat myself to leather. I massaged it with saddle soap. Mistake. It took the shine off the leather and now I think the impregnation is some kind of varnish that is sprayed onto the surface and not something that has soaked into the leather during the tanning process. I buffed it with a neutral shoe polish and brought the shine back, but I should have left it alone and not used saddle soap. So if you're going to sit around and do nothing but admire your new strap and be tempted, don't.
