Screenshots speak for themselves. I've used this with a Thunderbolt 3 port on a Dell XPS13 (2019), but I expect the same results from anyone using USB-C/USB3 Gen2. If you're not 100% sure what all this means, do your homework to make sure your machine meets these standards. Otherwise you may not get the expected data transfer rate. The build quality of this case is excellent. I found this by accident in a tech news article and exhausted it. Nobody seems to stock them, which is a shame. I've had some M.2 cases that were complete crap. It's hard to pick the good ones, so hopefully (A) this review will help others pick the good ones, and (B) the manufacturer does more. The NVMe used is Samsung 970 EVO 500GB. Definitely one of my favorite SSDs. The Samsung EVO range of SSDs have been super reliable for me for the past 4 years. I've installed it on over 150 laptops and none of them have failed.
