Review on Premium Earthborn Holistic Smoked 🦃 Turkey Ancient Grains & Superfoods Dog Food by Courtney Huggins

I buy this salmon flavored brand for my dog. I wanted to give it variety so I tried the turkey. The date on the package I bought was correct, the package was not damaged, the food was not mushy or moldy. There was no answer. I still wonder if the turkey flavor really just stinks or if we have a bad bag. We also tried the rabbit flavor. No odor problems. I mean all dog foods have some kind of smell but some are just intense, usually the lower quality brands smell really strong. The other earth born unrefined strains were what I would call your usual higher quality smell levels. That way you don't smell too much through the bag or don't want to choke when you open it. Not only was the smell of turkey feed unpleasant, but my dog was breathing horribly. In fact, he had a stomach ache. We knew he hated chicken, and at that point we realized it was probably best to stay away from the bird altogether. Based on our experience with that particular taste, I cannot recommend the turkey. I heartily recommend the Earthborn Unrefined Fish and Rabbit flavors. The big disadvantage of this food is that I cannot find it in stores at the moment. If you're ready to move away from grain-free dog food, or have never settled with the concept and are looking for good, quality ingredients, Earthborn is a good brand of good, nutritious dog food, just maybe not turkey flavored.
