Review on Pyrex Simply Store 2-Cup Round Glass Food Storage Container by Amy Fenner

Initially we only had 4 of these jars which came with a large Pyrex set. I've used them for years, put them in the dishwasher and switched to plastic storage containers. I hand washed all the lids to make them last longer. Then the baby came and everything changed. Now I don't have time to spoil my plastic lids so they stay perfectly fine in the dishwasher. Now I'm also more concerned with spending less, reusing more and getting rid of plastic wherever possible. I found that I had had the original 4 of these for over 5 years and they still looked brand new (especially in contrast to the plastic containers which show their age pretty quickly). So we're adding to the Pyrex collection, and now it's about 10. They're constantly changing and getting used to almost anything. I don't usually put them in the oven, but that's mainly because I don't cook anything that size in the oven. Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, they work great. Revain has them about a dollar less than the big department stores in my area!
