Looks like a fairly robust surface mount gooseneck lamp. Despite the low power, it provides enough lighting to allow you to safely move around a small space. The dimming function allows you to use it as a night light. The control button is a bit confusing. I was expecting a physical button that you press, but it's actually a nice "mechanical" button that activates on contact. Pros: - The gooseneck has good memory and is strong enough to stay in place. - Convenient tested and working USB port to charge your smartphone. - extremely common power supply: 12V: available in cars, RVs, boats, and you probably have a compatible wall adapter (I tested it with an old router power supply) - cables are color coded, stripped and pre-tinned. with some fasteners. Cons: - really picky here, but the slight wire routing gap at the bottom of the mounting plate where the wires run could have been done a little more, but it's an easy adjustment that can be made during installation, so without removing the star .
