Living 100 miles from the nearest town with TV stations, I was hesitant to switch to the antenna and wasn't even sure if it would work or not. But I got really tired of paying that much to a record company every month, mostly through local channels. I bought this antenna and the RCA amplifier. It was easy to install and I was able to use the existing cable I had from the dish to distribute the signal to different TVs around my house. To make a long story short, with a little antenna and height adjustment, I was able to receive all the stations broadcast from there. Together with my Smart TV I can now watch local channels and other films and programs from the Internet. All in all, it's money well spent.
