I've been using this keyboard protector ever since I got my MacBook back from getting its keyboard repaired. I didn't want dust to clog up the butterfly mechanism again. It initially fit perfectly, and stuck snugly to the keys. Unfortunately, a few months later, it has permanently expanded about 5 extra millimeters due to the laptop's heat; this might not sound like much, but it's enough for the cover to rumple while using the keyboard, and it no longer sits neatly inside the keywell. I would rather just risk being without it, and spray compressed air under the keys regularly instead. That being said, this cover did work great for the first few months, so if you're looking for temporary protection, this could be worth it.
