Review on Monopoly Cheaters Board Game for All Ages by Thomas Unruh

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Disappointing for younger players

Overall the game is well constructed as one would expect from Hasbro. Frequent play will likely strain the game elements, but for weekend players this would be ideal. It would give a solid 4 stars. In terms of replayability, this game gets very difficult very quickly, as your opponents will learn your tactics pretty quickly if you perform cheats. Therefore, when it becomes almost impossible to try or execute the cheats, playback can become very slow and unstimulating. Apart from that, switching players will definitely improve the playing of the game. I would give a rating of 3. The game is rated 8+ even though I've had at least 10 kids try this game and kids ages 8-12 have had trouble keeping track of in-game cheats or playing cheats when they're dated enemy to be fought. high level opponents. In this age group, they can get frustrated very easily. For that I give the game 1 star in the age rating. Definitely teenagers and older. The classic version tends to provide the learning edge that this game lost when using addition, subtraction, and social skills. The classic version also tends to level the playing field much better for younger players. The cheats have difficulty levels, some pretty hard and some not that hard, but still make for an interesting game night. This game reduces communication as you have to keep a very close eye on other players. Snacks can also be distracting. Bought this for our 12 year old for his birthday. When he opened it, he was very excited. After the game, he's still interested in them, but states that he likes the classic version of 'Monopoly', the 'Monopoly' deal (this game is a sensation, solid 5-star stuff) or "Risk" preferred. I hope this helps you with your purchase.
