Cardo for dummies with helmet Communication

So my husband and I finally found time for ourselves and went for a run. We're not techies at all. We are watching several videos on You Tube to install the Talk Pack Bold Duo in our helmets. The video was great too. Showed all kinds of helmets. I charged the batteries overnight. It took us about 30 minutes to install the helmet. I am very glad we bought jbl. The sound was crystal clear and the bass sounded good. Yes it was very expensive but it was worth it. I think if you are going on a one to one hour cruise and you are going to see and visit places you have never been before, you should talk to your spouse or partner about some of the interesting things you are seeing. just like us. . We're going to be 50 soon, so being able to go on a cruise and be able to listen to our music without fiddling with our phones is a plus. I had my purse in our saddlebag and was able to listen to music just fine. So here's my take on it. With a duet, you can listen to your music individually, but still stay in touch with your partner via the intercom. There is no wind noise. Their white noise suppression is excellent. You don't hear any wind noise like with cell phones. Your partner will not hear your music or vice versa. With Bluetooth you can connect to the Cardo Talk Pack and your smartphone at the same time. It was perfect. As you spoke, the music dropped a little so you could hear each other, then returned to its original volume. I love the "Hey Cardo" feature, which is similar to Siri and Bixby on smartphones. You can answer calls with one touch. Turning up the volume was cool. It's a spinning wheel on an intercom. Well, one of the downsides was that the directions said I could share my music with my husband, but I can't do that yet. Have yet to find out. I have a shoe helmet and my husband has an unnamed helmet that flips up the front. He used half a microphone. I used a full microphone. You can't even tell it's in the helmet. We both used the rod pad on the outside of the helmet instead of the clip. The clip is a joke. In any case, all helmets are now thicker in design. In the end we both used glue to stick the com clip to the helmet. The video says to leave the glue on for 24 hours. We didn't know that and wanted to try it. We went out anyway to try it. Glue so thin after 1 hour. This allows you to shoot to recharge. My shoes are very well insulated so the music and sound was great. I was totally impressed. I already had jbl so wasn't surprised but impressed nonetheless. I have never used an intercom in a helmet. We made a two hour drive and the battery was not dead. I'm really excited about the fact that we can communicate and maybe communicate with other drivers to talk, but that might be beyond our technical knowledge. Trial and error when opp comes. We may need the same brand. Have to read more about it. If you're an avid cyclist or weekend street fighter, this is a must-visit when traveling with a partner. For people who just want to be able to listen to music and take calls on the go, which is great. We also used a motorcycle phone holder that held the phone in place by pinching the phone in the middle and stretching silicone straps over the corners of the phone for extra security. We were driving through the hills on country roads and some of the roads had potholes and bumps and the phone wouldn't budge. In general, it took no more than 30-40 minutes to install, turn on and search for a conversation pack via Bluetooth. Continue reading. how to turn on the music (minus the overnight fee) and we went out the door to get sushi for dinner. It doesn't take that long to charge, but I did it the first time I used it. My husband hadn't downloaded any music to his Samsung so at first we thought it wouldn't work, but we turned on his MixerBox list in the app on his phone and he was able to hear his music perfectly. I love this product and I do. its worth it. I hope that was helpful.
