Great lights. 5000k is too blue, 4000k is good for stage.

I originally thought I would get 5000k because I like white stuff but I was wrong. 5000k was too blue. After receiving 4000,000 I was very happy. Incandescent lamp for comparison. When I want to be comfortable I turn off the recessed lights, but when I want to work the recessed lights are perfect. First, they are really easy to install. It is entirely possible to wire them together, if the romex goes in one plug the romex comes out of the other plug and connects to the light with the wire nuts provided. It's a little tight in the box, but it works. Once connected and the box stowed away, it was easy to use the supplied template to cut a hole in the drywall, although I would suggest cutting on the outside of the line rather than the inside. It was pretty tight when I did it. After you cut the hole, find the box (hopefully you measured and marked the right spots when you did the drywall and paint) and plug the light into the socket, then bend the springs and slide it into the hole . . The springs are very strong and there is no problem with the light fitting snugly against the wall (I used 5/8" drywall). The string lights work great with my Leviton Decora Smart Wi-Fi 600W Dimmer. Most of the time I hold up the brightness is usually at about 30%, all the way to 100% is quite intense, although I may have gotten too close (about 6ft between all the lights) from a transformer or capacitor that switches the voltage, but these things are totally noiseless. Inspection was easy. For a rough check I ran and stapled all the wire with uncut loops where the lights should be and hooked up a practice box with spare wire. to show the inspector. He was interested in these gauzy headlights because he hadn't seen them before but was satisfied, then for the final check he didn't look at the final wiring, just made sure the dimmer had it works properly.
