Review on Enhance Aquarium CO2 Levels with AQUATEK 3-in-1 Diffuser & Bubble Counter (Large) by Whitney Buckley

This diffuser is a bit pricey due to the cheap plastic it's made of, but it doubles as a bubble counter and check valve so it adds value in addition to making the CO2 setting easier to use offers . Now I have planted 3 tanks. When I started I only had one planted tank. I bought this to use with my citric acid/baking soda CO2 setup in my first tank. It works very, very well. I started with two more tanks and first tried to buy a few other diffusers (Fluval brand and ISTA brand) because they were cheaper. None of them are worth a crap with my DIY setup. The ISTA brand just pops out of the tube and doesn't do anything and the Fluval can't get a decent amount of blisters. They may work better with higher pressure CO2 systems, but the fact is, this AQUATEK diffuser actually works very well for do-it-yourself CO2. Eventually I gave up and bought two more for other tanks. So I spent money to save a few bucks on these other brands knowing this one was a winner. The ceramic top cone is discoloring over time, a slightly greenish brown, although I have to say I've been using mine for a few months now and while the discoloration is there, it hasn't "shut up" at all. It still works fine. I bought a spare ceramic disc so I can replace the bleaching and soaking disc when needed.
