My senior cat is only 5lbs so the small size is perfect for her. (Measure your cat as recommended by the product and follow the sizing guide. This has helped me a lot and has proven to be accurate.) The harness is very easy to put on and take off. I think this may have the added benefit of being similar to the "thundershirt" dogs use to calm themselves. I notice that it purrs when I put it on. However, I get mixed messages because she also tries to take it off by doing a backflip on the floor (funny). But she can't wriggle out — no matter how hard she tries — and it fits comfortably without pinching her neck or legs, though she pretends she can't walk in it. Seeing how strong and dependable this trailer is, I have great confidence in its ability to keep it safe. I teach her to wear it by putting it on for a few minutes every day. So far it's helping her get used to her first "outfit". Thank you!
