I bought these to start building a guest kit so they are not for me to use myself but for me to use as part of my photography gear when a portrait client brushes needed that i can use am too new. to photography to hire a makeup artist. The smell has been mentioned in some reviews and it is that the silicone brushes smell like acrylic which makes me wonder if they are silicone or actually acrylic but the smell is not that noticeable to me and will likely go away after rinsing and airing . I have no experience with these brushes but they all look like very thin brushes, higher quality than my brushes. All brushes come in a ziplock plastic bag with a clear front and black back, allowing you to store the entire set without disassembling, dusting or damaging. Each brush even has a plastic cap to keep its shape.
