I LOVE IT! It used to use a disc cutter + mat, but this is a game changer. I can cut on any surface with much less shoulder/wrist pain. It's no faster than old school cutting - because you have to pin the template instead of using paper scales. but it is much less physically demanding. It's quieter and easier to use than the handheld version (which is louder and crackles when you turn it on!) THE ONLY cons: - The cord is too short - The protective hood falls too low. it must be raised when used. in which case, why bother at all? - 4 layers of cloth weighing 420g were only about 1.3cm high and seemed to be a problem for the blade. The fabric often tears. no matter what i will buy it again
