later I'll anticipate that - I'm an adult, I wear a size 7.5 for women in Keens and a size 6.5 for men in shoes like Adidas/Nike . I have found that I can also fit in children's shoes. I usually wear a size 5 in Big Kids Keens. I also have wide feet, but I don't usually buy "wide" shoes. I bought this shoe in a "wide" size and it definitely fit my foot width, but overall it was too big. If I had worn socks with him they might have fitted better so I sent them back. I bought a size 5. I couldn't figure out how to tighten the toe box, maybe I missed it. They seemed solid but a little heavier than I wanted. (I'm trying to find a replacement for my Keen Newport sandals, 7.5 women).
