After reading 50/50 reviews I decided to try it. So far this has worked for me. The smell is pleasant and I think dogs and cats don't like it which is great. I've sprayed around doors and floors (wood and carpet) where they prefer to use it. I let it air dry. So far I have sprayed these areas 2-3 times a day for the past week and my coat has not used the treated areas. Since it works for me I will buy a gallon jug. I don't want to run away Just in case, try a small container first like I did. If it works for you, grab a gallon jug and then refill your spray bottle. Do not dilute with water, use full strength and air dry for best results! The walls are still painted, the wooden floors are ok and the carpet hasn't discolored, at least not yet.
