I do not advise buying this product, there is nothing to praise here.

This power supply unit, in general, did not meet my expectations. Chokes produce an unbearably loud squeak that makes them unsuitable for use in the construction of quiet systems. In semi-passive mode, when the load is less than 200 W, the power supply fan does not run, but the case gets extremely hot. Because I leave my computer on all the time, the fan always needs to be running, yet even at medium speed, there is a significant amount of vibration. On the smaller ones, it does not rumble, but it does make a noise. Even the ZTE 750W, which had been in use for eight years, emitted a lower level of noise. Cables, is that really the best you can do, Cooler Master? They are really comfortable and flexible; nevertheless, I don't understand why they can't be transported directly to the connectors. They protrude from the surface like noodles. In my opinion, such deficiencies cannot be overlooked for the gold series at all.

Pros
  • - modular - semi-passive mode - handy flat cables - A warranty for ten years - a constant 12 V when the load is on
Cons
  • - a dreadful squeak coming from the throttles even when there is no load - a rattling sound coming from the fan - the appearance of cables at the connectors
