not as reflective as I would like.

The glass beads aren't as transparent as I'd like (they're collectively gray), and the angle you need to be looking at the object for it to reflect light easily is <45 degrees, not the 90 degree Default for as reflective. I've tried many methods of applying pearls, including direct to paint, clear resins to pre-dried paint, and even super clear varnishes, with moderate success so far. I don't know if this is because the beads are not spherical, or because of the properties of the glass, or because it requires special equipment that most customers don't readily possess. I would not recommend this for the average person.

Pros
  • EASY TO APPLY: Sprinkle on wet paint, epoxy or tape to secure balls. Do not bury or cover the beads. Beads must be placed on top of paint or glue to properly reflect light. Also suitable for use with standard road marking devices or line marking dispensers.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
