I was very pleased with this nice looking hybrid smartwatch (it actually looks like a watch, not like a big plastic device on your wrist), and right out of the box rode according to instructions, charged to 100%, after that it all went downhill. First, the Android app required to run this thing is one of the most confusing we've come across. Each step was a guess as to what the manufacturers were up to. Eventually the watch seemed to sync to my phone (bluetooth only) but the watch never showed the correct time, not even for a second. Even after I set it to the nearest East Coast city, it was moving for two hours and twenty-five minutes. (How can a watch claim Swiss precision if it can't even properly parse the second hand?!) So I was glad when the firmware update notification popped up, which took another 20 minutes. At this point I had spent over three hours charging the watch to figure out how to sync it to my phone and update the firmware. That's when the really interesting things happened. After the update was complete, the clock went crazy; it started flashing the barcode continuously and the mechanical hands (it's a hybrid) started spinning in circles while the light on the watch started flashing and went out. After a few minutes of this electronic chaos, this thing just died, petrified like a semi-elegant looking brick. I'd like an explanation, but until MyKronoz figures out how to make a reasonable app (that a normal person can understand) to sync up with their hybrid 'smart' watch that actually works, I wouldn't bother with this brand. . In my experience, one can only guess when even one of their work hours goes haywire.
