Review on πŸŽ₯ Black Adjustable Chest Mount Harness for GoPro Camera - Amazon Basics (Compatible with GoPro Hero Series) by Aaron Bannister

The best GoPro mount for biking or hiking

GoPro Hero 8 video smoothing works well when chest mounted. Visibility is pretty good and the camera can be tilted backwards so you can see less of your knees and front wheel. It's easy to put on and take off by slipping your hand through one loop and your head through the other, then twisting and snapping the clip under your other hand. Shooting is even easier. A few downsides: * The screen is hidden behind a chest strap, so it's easy to hit the record button and think it's recording when it actually stops. I had no problems with the GoPro remote. However, this is an issue if you only use the top (red) button on the Hero to start recording - it may beep and then stop recording immediately. Perhaps the type of beep sequence indicates this condition? It would be helpful to have a hole in the back of the mount so you can pull the mount down and look at the screen to make sure it's actually recording in the morning and then it gets too hot. Thick plastic rubber bands are strong. Sturdy enough, length is adjustable. The whole thing is pretty light, you can throw it in your backpack and take it out when you want to record. There are no loose parts to lose. And the quick releases are easy to use (I always leave one attached and just slip my hand in like I explained above). This on your chest takes the extra weight off your head and neck and also looks less noticeable.
