****^^^ Below is a first evaluation made a few weeks after ownership. Now, after several months of washing, the thing started to come loose. Poor seam quality. But very good quality in design and material. I guess I'll watch the seams open one at a time if not more until it's all gone. Now from 5 to 2 stars. I was hesitant to buy running shorts as this was my first. Traditionally, a soccer player always ran/jogged in soccer shorts, but wants to fully embrace running and hopefully compete in a marathon. Purchasing this pair has been the best choice I've made so far and I'm proud of myself! They fit perfectly and the little pocket on the back helps carry my door keys, yes! You are unlikely to feel or notice that you have anything there. I mean, for an amateur runner, they worked perfectly! Give him a chance!
