When I bought these for my youngest son I wanted suede shoes similar to the ones his teenage older brother wears. They've been described as having a leather upper, but that's clearly not the case. My son tripped and scratched his boot which immediately chafed the faux leather upholstery. They're pretty cheaply made for supposedly Sperry shoes.
