Sperry Kids Boy's Caspian III Sneakers: Perfect Fit for Little Kid to Big Kid Adventures Review

Two and a half months into the start of the school year and that's exactly what happened to my son's shoes. We have been purchasing the School Issue brand for 6 years in the past and have NEVER had this problem. They weren't available early in the school year, so I bought a Sperry, expecting better quality. The material is thinner than the School Issue and Academie Gear brands and less soft than theirs. All in all I will never buy again.

When I bought these for my youngest son, I wanted suede shoes that would resemble the ones his teenage older brother wears. They've been described as having a leather upper, but that's clearly not the case. My son tripped and scratched his boot which immediately chafed the faux leather upholstery. They're pretty cheaply made for supposedly Sperry shoes.

Terrible shoes. 9 year old son wore THE SOLE for 4 months at 15 during school holidays. Worst uniform shoe we've tried in 10 years

Since the shoes are not real leather or suede, they are difficult to walk on. Very brave. Will return. I have already paid 10 dollars more for real money with natural suede.

My son has worn these shoes since he attended private school for many years. The quality is amazing and you can't go wrong with Sperry! My son has enough space in size 3 1/2. He has 3 sizes.

The description of these shoes is incorrect. It says leather upper. They are clearly not leather and speak the language, the upper is textile. What gives?! I sent them back.

I decided to take a chance with these shoes, I saw negative reviews but the overall rating is quite high so I ordered them. Don't make the same mistake I did. We bought them for a summer suit and my son chose another pair. I wanted to save, but I don't have to. Quality shoes and looks fantastic.

These shoes look great out of the box, but they're made of a thin material that puckers when laced up. I didn't read the description of the material and while it was suede it certainly wasn't.

I usually buy from DSW or a shoe carnival. It was cheaper and arrived in two days. They are mandatory for my son's uniform. These Sperrys are comfortable and fit well. I spray them with suede protector before my son puts them on. I will buy again.

The shoe material seemed odd, not like the nubuck leather we had before. More like fabric, something like matte suede? I checked the inside of the shoe and it actually says 'textile upper' and not the 'genuine leather upper' stated in the product description. These return.

I ordered a pair of suede Sperry shoes from another company and they were real suede which is faux suede. They also have an odd dent in the toe box. However, they are lightweight and my son seems to like them.

Our little man hasn't grown them yet but they are well made and look great and can handle anything the hardworking little chap can cook. I have a deal So even better.

Too bad I didn't read the review before buying it or I wouldn't have bought it. They're made of cheap textiles with slippery felt soles that tear. This is NOT the leather upper and rubber sole that the description says (and what I've come to expect from Sperry Bucks). I don't know if it's fake or just poorly made but today they are being sent back.

We brought these shoes in February and they are already falling apart. I understand boys can be rough on shoes, but the sides literally fall off the shoes themselves. I've bought this brand many times in the past and this has never happened, I don't know if it's the seller or the retailer they buy the shoes from, but DO NOT BUY.
