After reading the reviews I was very happy to receive this item. I bought two of these for each side of the room and connected them with 24 feet of 3.5mm cable. My only complaint is that it's not as noisy as I was hoping. The room they live in, 13 x 20, brought about 10 people to a party and the music drowned out the conversation. It's funny that up to 5 people can connect to the device and it was a big hit when you could play someone else's song. You can also tell who turned on the song because as soon as someone connects to the device they are assigned a color and when they turn on the song a color appears for the user.
