Perfect for night feedings and diaper changes!

I ordered this light for use in my 13 month old daughter's bedroom and it has worked well for us so far. It comes pre-charged with enough battery for two full nights on the lowest power setting, which is pretty impressive. One of the first things I noticed upon unboxing was that a USB charging cable is included but no charging case. If you have additional items, this may not be a problem for you. In my case, however, I used one from the other device, which is a bit of a hassle, but not a deal breaker - I'll end up buying an extra one to use exclusively with this device, so I don't have to keep it back and forth move here. The upper part of the lantern (chicken) is made of soft platinum material, inside which the light and function controls are hidden; The lower part (bowl) is strong and rounded at the base, which allows the lantern to oscillate without tipping over. At first glance I thought my daughter could keep this light with her in bed (like a firefly?), but I quickly realized that she could turn the light on and off, raise and lower it just by touching any part of it held or touched above, so we keep it on the next table. She likes to carry it around the house during the day and although it has been dropped a few times it is still holding up well and seems to be quite durable. This light would be perfect for the first few months of nighttime waking, feeding and diaper changing and would make a great baby shower gift but also good for older children/kids who don't like the dark. Overall we love this chic night light and would definitely recommend it. , despite repeated insults (rough treatment) by the violent child!
