The differences between the Colgate 360 Total Advanced and Whole Mouth Clean versions are minor. You have to hold them close to really see the difference. Both clean very well and are a big improvement over normal everyday toothbrushes. Both brushes have staggered bristles to not only clean the outside of the teeth but also the spaces between the teeth, and extra-long bristles to avoid the gum line. The two versions already differ in the arrangement of the bristles on the brush head. The bristles of the Colgate Total Advanced brush are more densely packed and appear to have more of it. In addition, both brushes have soft rubber "polishing cups" in the bristles. The polishing cups in Colgate's Total Advanced brush are slightly smaller than the cups in the Whole Mouth Clean brush, but that appears to be because the Total Advanced pod has more bristles, leaving less room for larger polishing cups. Note that the "polishing cups" are actually just small pieces of rubber placed between the bristles. The heads of both brushes are nice and full size. And both brushes have a rubberized backing on the brush head that cleans the cheeks and can be used to clean the tongue. One slight difference is that the Total Advanced brush also has some textured rubber on the side of the brush head, which they call their cleaner. Unlike the 360 Whole Mouth Clean. It only has tires on the back. The last difference I noticed is that the handle of the Total Advanced brush looks slightly larger (wider) than the 360 Whole Mouth Clean brush. Both the 360 Whole Mouth Clean and these 360 Total Advanced brushes are serious toothbrushes with a lot more features than a regular brush. And both brushes are 5 stars and clean teeth very well. Which turns out to be the favorite in the end depends on personal preferences. I like the 360 Whole Mouth Clean as my favorite, but the Total Advanced brush may be the preferred choice for many.
