This blue ocean quilt set is as thin as paper and as light as a sheet. But I knew that before I bought it and I agreed because I was looking for a blanket for my summer vacation at the beach. You can't tell it's that bright when it's on display. For warmth, I buy normal thick duvets and quilts at much higher prices. You will only be dissatisfied with this purchase if you need warmth or heaviness instead of a light summer duvet. It was a bit stiff on arrival so I washed and dried it on the gentle cycle with fabric softener and found it very soft and comfortable. Perfect for what I wanted - I bought 2 and I'm glad I did.
