Excellent Guardian. For a perfect fit you need to repeat the molding process 3 times.

I just got these from grinding down the ends of my canines. A bit apprehensive, I began shaping the mouthpiece by first reading and re-reading the instructions and then watching a video of the dentist going through all the steps. I assume that the negative reviews are mainly due to a lack of understanding of the incorporation process. However, I will say that one molding is NOT enough to get a good fit. let me explain. Follow the steps given, but note that the first time gives a preliminary adjustment. You have to repeat the process. Rinse the formed cap and drop back into the hot water for another 10-15 seconds until the edges curl up again, remove and replace around your teeth. I promise the fit will be more natural than the first time. Repeat again for the final shaping bite, not too much, just bring the bottom teeth to guard to make a slight impression. At least for me it is so important that it fits comfortably with a relaxed jaw. After completing 3 molding cycles, follow the prompts to conform closely to the body by quickly dropping into the water for a second or two and gently pinching the back edges together while submerging in an ice water bath. By following these steps you will have a perfectly formed mouthguard that rivals professional mouthguards found in dental offices. Check my photos1. Read and fully understand the instructions. This is critical.2. Repeat the onlay molding process THREE times until the bottom teeth make contact with the third molding tip.3. Have fun, don't grind your teeth :)
