Review on Sony A90J 65 Inch TV: Experience BRAVIA XR OLED 4K Ultra HD Smart Google TV with Alexa Compatibility - 2021 Model by Jesus Jenkins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice but not worth 3 thousand!

This 55-inch TV costs $3,000 and doesn't quite live up to that price tag. 40% of the TV is made from recycled plastic. Cheap plain cardboard packaging that looks like a $100 badge. Google enforces tos or you can't even use the tv offline. Very disrespectful at this price. Really any price. The traffic is just bad. It's shaky, jittery and blurry at 24p-30p. 60p and above is smoother, but it should be as it contains many more frames. The sound is pleasant with deep bass. Essentially, you have a built-in mini soundbar. Very beautiful. The remote control has a motion-activated backlight. Very stylish. HDR and SDR are also impressive. The new improved Imax preset maximizes all content. At its core, Bravia is a ploy to sell a new subscription service. This is not an actual function. Games are good with 16ms input lag but not as good as cx with 14ms and vrr available out of the box! Sony says its vrr will be out in winter 2021! So you were lied to that he has vrr too! Disappointing for gamers! There's also no XR logo on the back! They lied about that too! Sony is getting too cocky. This product shows what happens when companies stop caring about quality experiences and prioritize profit. Good TV but not worth 3000! See photo. I would wait for a sale or buy cx. It's overpriced, and only the pickiest cinephile can hardly justify the price. Check out Quantum TV for more info, but most of all, good luck. Sony didn't try too hard this year. They didn't even bother to glue, staple, or tape the top of the box. If you lower your expectations or use an old TV, you'll be amazed. Otherwise just wait for the sale. Much luck.
