Very easy to use and gives accurate readings when I poured a deep bowl of ice water tested. I had a strongly fluctuating fridge/freezer combination, which I registered for about 5 days. When I plotted this result (Excel) I saw that the problem got progressively worse as the ups and downs increased with each cycle. In the mini-fridge, the noise sensor displayed numbers off the scale. The same is in the small freezer in the utility room. So your chances of success are just random based on the RF noise in the device. In these cases, no moving or using just outside the edge of the door helped.
