I've been looking for a good gaming headset for a long time. Contacted Astro for reviews and recommendations. After receiving the headset, I plugged it in and tried to set up the mic. The microphone didn't work. I've tried several things to fix this but to no avail. Feel a little cheap. The ear pads are soft but uncomfortable due to the material. I think that's why they sell "upgrade kits" so you have to shell out an extra $60 for soundproofing and softer materials. I see the benefits of fitting with a headset, but if a product is inherently flawed there is no point in spending more to improve it. The magnetic interchangeable outer parts of the ear pads were also badly scratched. Needless to say I sent them back the same day. The sound was ok from what I heard. But I didn't play games with them. I'm sure these are good headphones, otherwise there wouldn't be such good praise from others. I've only had bad experiences with it.
