Not dog proof but still works

This is the second HDMI cable I have ordered. 2:1 signal quality difference is better than regular HDMI cable with Apple adapter. It's sharper, sharper, more colorful and I think it would run faster and jump higher if it could. There is one future mod I might recommend. This 10 foot cable is very similar to the root of a tree. And since I have a Papua New Guinea Hound (yes, I live in Papua New Guinea), she loves to dig and gnaw on roots. I always let her do this because her usual love object is the root of a dead tree. Those dead tree roots are hard to find here, so when you find them it's like finding a truffle with your pet pig (which I don't have). My dog diligently digs up roots in a defiant calm, and it gives him great pleasure when they find them. But I digress. While the little lady and I were enjoying watching the video from my computer on the large monitor, my hound PNG noticed a wire that looked like a tree root and thought she had hit the jungle jackpot. In no time she grabbed the cable and severed it with one mighty bite as cleanly as if she could rip a taipan's head off. Needless to say, the little lady and I thought we were just having one of our frequent blackouts, until we noticed little Fido holding one end of a forked cable in her powerful little jaws. Bite this joker in half like whipped cream on a lawnmower. (Slightly mixed metaphor, but I digress.) So my recommendation for this one. Anyone who has energetic fangs with powerful fangs (see what I did there?) can find a thicker cable, or cover the cable with a piece of steel pipe. Or maybe teach your dog to distinguish between HDMI cables and tree roots.
