I wanted to find an essential oils set to make some homemade cleaning agents. There are some simple recipes that are easily made at home and now is the time to try them out. The essential oils in this set are ideal for many things, but they just so happen to be great for homemade cleaners.I have wanted to make my own toilet cleaning bombs. This set has peppermint in it which I used in making my toilet bath fresheners. It mixed well with the baking soda and gave a very fresh scent.I combined my orange oil with some Castile soap and water and I used it as a degreaser for my stove top. I have also heard of people using orange oil to make a nice hardwood floor cleaner. I have used Murphy oil on my floors in the past and they have a great orange scent as well.The tea tree oil I made an all purpose cleaner. I combined it with some water and vinegar. I have found this to be nice in the bathroom. Tea tree oil is an anti fungal, anti-microbial, bactericidal so I feel comfort in knowing that it is killing germs while smelling awesome.Eucalyptus is one of my all-time favorite scents. I like the wax warmers with eucalyptus and wall plug-ins. Eucalyptus also has the antibacterial and antiviral component so I like to use it as a disinfectant. I have also added it to baking soda and sprinkled it over carpets that my dog likes to roll around on.Essential oils are becoming much more main stream and it is nice to be able to use a natural cleaner in my own home. I know where it came from and I know exactly what’s in it. I also feel comfortable using essential oils around my pets and grandchildren. I want to kill bacteria but I also want to make sure that I am being responsible using chemicals. This is a nice starter set especially for my home cleaning recipes. It’s also an added bonus that these essential oils are organic. I know that there are no chemicals or pesticides accidentally mixed within these.
