update: after I received a replacement fan that ended up looking the same when a service rep contacted me about my original problem. THE REPLACEMENT FAN WAS SHIPPED WITHIN ONE WEEK AND AFTER I bench tested it and found that it wasn't (also) working properly, the company refunded me in full within hours. 5 stars for customer service but only 1 star for the product. OVERALL - 3 STARS This was the second unit I have ordered after the first was installed in the master bathroom. It worked well, both light and fan, so I expected to get the same device and remote control with the same experience. The second device looked the same but with a different remote control and didn't work the same. At first the lights and fan worked as expected, but much brighter and louder than the first time. My problems started when I turned off the light with the remote control. Now there is no way to turn the light back on. I have tried to contact the manufacturer but apart from email replies that they will help they have been silent for the past 3 weeks. THIS LIGHT/FAN IS A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT AND A CONSUMPTION OF THE $150 PURCHASE PRICE.
