Display and protection could be improved

I like the size that fits well under my bread shelf in the bin. ACCURACY: The ability of this scale to measure to within 1 gram is very important to me, but I find it a bit picky between the grams. I wanted to measure 2 grams for example. I could get 1 gram or 3 instead of 2. I settled on 1 gram plus a bit more but less than 3. DISPLAY: Due to my back condition I often find myself in a wheelchair measuring ingredients and mixing at the top of the vault. Rubbish bins at about knee height under the work surface. In this position I can read the display perfectly. When I place the scale on a work surface, the display is too dark to read from this angle while sitting or standing. (I'm 5ft 10") DISPLAY STAYS ON WHEN IT'S ON: When plugged into an outlet, it can be set to stay on. (See included instructions.) When running on batteries only, it can be set to run for a few minutes, but will automatically turn off to save batteries. I think it makes sense to have that option. a plastic screen protector to calibrate in between (I can just remove it, but then there is a risk of spilling liquids onto the display.) If I were to design it, I would make the screen protector only as wide as the display and the control buttons set free. (They're covered by a membrane anyway.) Overall I'm happy with the scale, but it could be improved with a better display and protection.
