Amazing way to save big on a new MB key

I broke my MB E350 key fob trying to log in without watching the YouTube video first. Guilty. Then I needed a new MB key fob. Mercedes told me a new one would cost $400. BUT THERE IS A MUCH BETTER WAY! I ordered the same key fob (the only difference is that there is no MB logo on the front - see photo). There was even a new battery in the key. It's exactly the same as the original, but of course it won't work if it's not programmed. My solution was to disassemble the broken key fob and remove the circuit board (see video on You Tube). Then I reinstalled the circuit board in a new key fob. Wow! It works great! Total cost is $25. I saved $375 and it only took me a while to watch a youtube video and make sure the key fob I ordered matched my FCC ID/model. The actual work of opening the old and new key rings and inserting the new chains took about 30 minutes. Problem solved for a dime!
